SHIPPING POLICY
Last Updated: July 30, 2026
Every order leaving our studio represents more than a shipment—it represents trust.
Whether you've collected an original painting, a limited-edition print, a restored vintage treasure, or another creation from The Eye of Ingrid™, we take great care in preparing your order for its journey.
Our goal is for your purchase to arrive safely, securely, and ready to be enjoyed for years to come.
This Shipping Policy explains how orders are prepared, processed, and delivered.
1. Where We Ship
Shipping availability varies depending on the product purchased.
Studio-Fulfilled Products
Original artwork, vintage lighting, vintage furniture, collectible décor, handmade pieces, and other items shipped directly by The Eye of Ingrid™ are currently available only within the contiguous United States (the lower 48 states).
At this time, we are unable to ship studio-fulfilled products to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or international destinations.
Partner-Fulfilled Products
Certain products—including select fine art prints, print-on-demand merchandise, and other items fulfilled by our trusted production partners—may be available for shipment to additional domestic or international destinations.
Shipping availability for these products will be displayed during checkout.
As our studio grows and our shipping capabilities expand, available shipping destinations may change. Any updates will be reflected in this Shipping Policy.
2. Order Processing
Most orders begin processing after payment has been successfully received.
Because many of our products are original works of art, restored vintage pieces, or handmade items, processing times vary depending on the product purchased.
Estimated processing times are provided below and represent the time required to prepare an order for shipment. Processing time does not include carrier transit time.
Whenever possible, orders may ship sooner than the estimated processing window.
3. Estimated Processing Times
While every order is unique, our general processing times are:
Original Artwork
Approximately 7–14 business days
Original artwork may require additional time for inspection, finishing, curing (when applicable), photography, documentation, protective packaging, scheduling with specialized carriers, or other preparations necessary to ensure safe transit.
Vintage Lighting, ChromaLume™, Furniture & Collectibles
Approximately 7–14 business days
Vintage pieces are individually inspected and carefully prepared prior to shipment. Certain oversized or especially fragile items may require additional preparation time.
Limited Edition Fine Art Prints
Processing and fulfillment times vary depending on our professional print production partner.
Estimated delivery times will be provided during checkout whenever available.
Print-on-Demand Products
Print-on-demand items are produced after your order is placed and shipped directly from our production partner.
Processing and shipping times vary depending on the product ordered and the destination.
Digital Products
Digital products are delivered electronically and do not require shipping.
Delivery instructions will be provided after purchase.
4. Our Packing Philosophy
Every piece is packed individually using materials selected specifically for its size, weight, and level of fragility.
Original artwork and many vintage pieces are prepared using a white-glove packing process designed to help provide the highest level of protection during transit.
Packaging methods may include protective wrapping, reinforced boxes, corner protection, cushioning materials, custom supports, or other techniques appropriate for the artwork or object being shipped.
Whenever practical, we reuse clean, high-quality packaging materials as part of our commitment to reducing waste. Every shipment is prepared with the same care and attention, whether new or responsibly reused materials are selected.
Because no two pieces are exactly alike, packaging methods may vary from one shipment to another.
5. Shipping Insurance
Original artwork, vintage pieces, and other qualifying shipments may be insured during transit based on the value and nature of the item.
Shipping insurance helps protect both our collectors and The Eye of Ingrid™ should damage or loss occur while a shipment is in transit.
Insurance coverage, when applicable, is arranged prior to shipment.
Because many of our works are one- of-a-kind or limited in nature, insurance may compensate for financial loss but cannot replace the artistic or historical value of an original or unique piece. For that reason, we place significant emphasis on careful packing and appropriate shipping methods.
6. Signature Confirmation
To help protect valuable shipments, certain orders may require a signature upon delivery.
Signature requirements may be determined based on factors including the value of the artwork, the nature of the item, the shipping carrier, or the delivery destination.
If a signature is required, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure that someone is available to accept delivery.
7. Shipping Carriers
The Eye of Ingrid™ selects shipping carriers based on the size, weight, destination, value, and handling requirements of each order.
Depending on the item purchased, orders may be shipped using national parcel carriers, freight services, white-glove delivery providers, or specialized art transportation services.
Carrier selection is made at our discretion to help ensure the safest and most appropriate delivery method for each shipment.
8. Delivery Estimates
Estimated delivery dates are provided as general guidelines only.
Once an order has been transferred to a shipping carrier, delivery times are outside the control of The Eye of Ingrid.
Weather conditions, carrier delays, holidays, customs processing (when applicable in the future), natural disasters, labor disruptions, and other unforeseen events may affect delivery schedules.
The Eye of Ingrid™ is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
9. Incorrect Shipping Information
Customers are responsible for providing complete and accurate shipping information at the time an order is placed.
The Eye of Ingrid™ is not responsible for delays, additional shipping charges, or failed deliveries resulting from incorrect or incomplete shipping information provided by the customer.
If an order is returned because of an incorrect address, additional shipping charges may apply before the order can be reshipped.
10. Multiple Shipments
Orders containing multiple products may arrive in separate shipments.
For example, an order containing an original painting, a vintage lamp, and a print-on-demand item may ship separately because each product requires a different fulfillment method.
Receiving multiple tracking numbers for a single order is normal and should not be a cause for concern.
11. Lost Packages
If a shipment appears to be lost during transit, please contact The Eye of Ingrid™ as soon as reasonably possible.
We will work with you and the shipping carrier to investigate the shipment and, when applicable, assist with filing claims or locating the package.
While we will make every reasonable effort to assist, final determinations regarding lost shipments may be subject to the policies and procedures of the applicable shipping carrier or insurance provider.
12. Damaged Shipments
If your order arrives damaged, please notify The Eye of Ingrid™ within three (3) calendar days of delivery.
To assist with the evaluation of your claim, please:
Photograph the damaged item.
Photograph the shipping box.
Photograph the packing materials.
Photograph the shipping label.
Retain all original packaging until the claim has been resolved.
Prompt documentation greatly improves our ability to work with the shipping carrier and, when applicable, the insurance provider.
Please do not discard damaged items or packaging until we have had an opportunity to review the claim.
13. Shipping Costs
Shipping charges are calculated during checkout whenever possible and vary based on factors including:
Product type;
Size and weight;
Shipping destination;
Delivery method;
Fulfillment partner (when applicable).
Any applicable shipping charges will be displayed before your order is finalized.
14. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For partner-fulfilled products that are available for international shipment, customers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, value-added taxes (VAT), brokerage fees, or other charges imposed by the destination country.
These charges are determined by the destination country's customs authorities and are not controlled by The Eye of Ingrid™.
Failure to pay required customs or import fees may result in delays, returned shipments, or additional charges, which remain the responsibility of the customer.
15. Delivery Refusal
If a shipment is refused by the recipient or returned because delivery could not be completed, additional shipping charges, carrier fees, or return shipping costs may apply before the order can be reshipped.
Orders returned because of unpaid customs duties, incorrect shipping information, or repeated failed delivery attempts may be subject to additional charges.
16. Changes to This Shipping Policy
The Eye of Ingrid™ may update this Shipping Policy from time to time as our studio, fulfillment methods, shipping partners, or business operations evolve.
Any revised Shipping Policy will be posted on this Website with an updated "Last Updated" date.
We encourage customers to review this Shipping Policy before placing an order.
